Solution · Cost optimization
Cut costs with AI. Measurably, not by feel.
We find the cost drivers in your processes, put a euro value on every savings opportunity and use AI where it noticeably lowers operating and personnel costs. At the end, we measure what was actually saved.
Starting point
Why traditional cost cutting often does not last.

- Magnus HoppeSeven years at Porsche Consulting. Knows the questions midsize companies face from many digitalization projects.

Across-the-board savings rounds hit every area equally, including the ones that work well. The real cost drivers remain: manual routine work, hand-offs between systems, duplicate data entry and long lead times. They hide in overhead and do not show up in any cost center.
AI can take over exactly this work. But only if it is clear beforehand where the lever is and what it is worth. That is why AI-driven cost optimization starts with a cost structure analysis and a business case, not with a tool.
Our value levers
Where we start.
The method comes from seven years of strategy and process consulting at Porsche Consulting. What is new is the lever: AI takes over tasks that used to need people.
Cost structure analysis
We create cost transparency: which processes cause which operating and personnel costs, and where do they really arise?
Find cost drivers
Overhead value analysis along your processes. We show which activities tie up a lot of time and contribute little to the result.
Evaluate savings potential
Every savings opportunity gets a business case: impact in euros, effort for delivery and operation, payback period and ROI.
Automate routine work
Checking documents, transferring data, sorting requests: AI agents handle recurring work, your team takes care of the exceptions.
Spend analysis and procurement
AI analyzes orders and invoices, spots price deviations and bundling potential and makes your spending comparable.
Make-or-buy decisions
Build it yourself, buy standard software or outsource? We calculate the options before money is spent.
Savings potential
Where AI typically pays off.
Incoming invoices
Invoices are read, checked against purchase order and goods receipt and prepared for posting. A person only checks the deviations.
KPI: Cost per document, lead time
Proposals
Proposals are built from templates, price lists and past projects. Sales reviews and sends instead of starting from scratch.
KPI: Time per proposal, win rate
Customer service
Requests are pre-sorted and come with a draft reply. AI answers recurring questions directly, with a source.
KPI: Handling time, first-contact resolution
Reporting
Monthly reports are compiled automatically from several systems instead of by hand in Excel every month.
KPI: Hours per report
Organization
Scale without adding headcount.
For us, AI-driven cost optimization does not mean cutting jobs. The goal is that your team gets more done: more orders with the same people, less overtime, less dependence on individuals. To get there, we also clarify roles and responsibilities: who reviews what the AI prepares, and who owns which process? That way your organizational structure fits the new way of working, and capacity planning gets a reliable basis.

Measurability
Savings you can prove.
Before we start, we define baseline values. After 4, 8 and 12 weeks, we measure against them and the agreed target values. You see in black and white what was saved and when the investment pays back.
What we measure
- Process cost per case
- Lead time
- Handling time per case
- Error and rework rate
- Payback period
Frequently asked questions.
How quickly do we see first savings?
It depends on the use case. Quick wins such as automated document checks often run after a few weeks. We calculate the exact timing in the business case before we start.
Is this about headcount reduction?
No. Our goal is that your team hands off routine work and has more time for customers and value-adding tasks. Many companies want to grow without adding headcount at the same rate.
How do we know AI will pay off?
Every use case is valued in euros before delivery: impact on costs or margin against the effort for delivery and operation. If it does not pay off, we do not recommend it.
What does the analysis cost?
You start with the free AI Readiness Check. Afterwards you get a fixed-scope proposal for evaluating the use cases, including a business case.
Do we need new software?
Usually not. We connect AI to the systems you already use, such as CRM, ERP and Microsoft 365.
