Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. Hetzner acts as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
To deliver this page, the web server necessarily receives your IP address along with the request. We do not keep access logs. Our server records no individual page views, so your IP address is processed only for the moment it takes to answer the request and is not stored by us. Only technical events such as server start-up and certificate renewal are recorded; these contain no visitor data.
Legal basis for this transient processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the delivery and secure operation of this website. Independently of us, our hosting provider may process connection data at network level to protect its own infrastructure.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process the data contained in your message solely in order to answer it. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We delete such messages once they are no longer needed and no retention obligations apply.
Cookies and access to your device
This website stores no information on your device and reads none from it. It therefore requires no consent under § 25 TDDDG, and no cookie banner is shown.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above.
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.
